DeepL SE
In ArGe Baltikum, this is the most frequently used free translation tool for Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian (available since March 2021).
Using artificial intelligence, it offers apps for Windows and macOS, as well as for mobile devices with Android or iOS operating systems, and delivers reliable translations with only occasional reworking required (especially for technical terms).
It is possible to save technical terms and expressions in a glossary so that they appear in the future as a suggested translation in the desired manner.
Google Inc.
This is the second most used free translation tool for Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian in ArGe Baltikum.
For individual expressions, it provides similarly good translation suggestions as DeepL; for complex sentences, meanwhile, it also provides good formulations.
The Google Translator can only be used online.
